Youth helped to develop and utilize these store assessments while leading a successful corner store makeover in Fresno.

• Small Store Observational Tool – Directed toward liquor stores.
• Store Infrastructure-Needs Assessment Tool – They used this tool after identifying storeowners who were interested in the project. This tool helped them to assess the infrastructural resources needed to implement healthy changes.
• Store Owner Interview Tool – This helps to determine actual and perceived barriers to making healthy changes and facilitates relationship-building with the store owner.
